On September 18th, 2022, we partnered with The Merry Dairy for a fun ice cream fundraiser for Afghan refugees. All who attended agreed that The Merry Dairy makes fantastic ice cream, including vegan and gluten-free options.
Due to the inclement weather on the 18th, Merry Dairy has generously agreed to extend this fundraising initiative until Saturday, September 24th.
The online “OCRA ICE CREAM STORE” on Merry Dairy’s website will now remain open until the 24th! Order your pints online from the drop-down menu of special OCRA flavours. Then pick up your ice cream at their store or have it delivered. Merry Dairy will donate $2 to OCRA for each pint ordered by September 24th.
You can also join us for a delicious cone at The Merry Dairy store location at 102 Fairmont (corner of Gladstone) from 4:30 to 6:30 pm on the 24th and a portion of those sales will also be donated to OCRA.
Want to amplify your contribution? You can also pledge an amount per cone/pint sold! Every dollar donated or pledged will be used by OCRA to fund sponsorships for Afghan refugees.
